    a game of cat and mouse... on your linux system!

    Sometimes, when I'm bored, I like to look for fun and obscure linux packages people make. Today I came across this package called "oneko" licensed way back in 1988!

    oneko

    At only 10Kb, oneko is a program that adds a cat that chases your cursor around in a game of "cat and mouse". If the cat catches the "mouse" it goes right to sleep. There are different "skins" you can use for the cat that change it's appearance, such as;

    -tora

    Make cat into "tora-neko", a cat with tiger-like stripe.

    -dog

    Runs a dog instead of a cat

    -sakura

    Runs Sakura Kimono instead of a cat.

    -tomoyo

    Runs Tomoyo Daidouji instead of a cat.

    installation

    On Debian/Ubuntu/Mint:

    $ sudo apt install oneko

    (Alternatively, try the apt-get command.)
